Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models for predictive analytics and optimization
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from research to production implementation
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions using Python, R, and cloud platforms
- Communicate complex findings to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model validation
- Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to drive product decisions
- Stay current with emerging ML techniques through research and conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with portfolio of production models
- Expert proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Strong statistical foundation with experimental design experience
- Proven ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps tools
- Excellent communication skills with executive stakeholder experience
- Published research or patents in ML/NLP/CV fields preferred
