Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for web and mobile applications
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and maintain traceability matrices
- Execute functional, regression, performance, and security testing across multi-platform environments
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices across cross-functional teams
- Analyze test metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive process optimizations
- Validate integrations with third-party APIs and cloud services (AWS/GCP)
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and propose preventive measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of QA experience
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages for test automation
- Proven experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and defect tracking systems
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing practices
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical requirements into test scenarios
