Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, compliant technology architectures for federal public services
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across multiple government departments
- Develop cloud migration strategies ensuring data sovereignty and regulatory compliance
- Create cybersecurity frameworks aligned with Canada's Digital Charter
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate policy requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior architects and establish best practices for government technology
- Oversee vendor management and technology procurement processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in enterprise architecture with 3+ years in public/government sector
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Deep knowledge of Canadian government IT standards (e.g., Treasury Board directives)
- Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure hybrid cloud environments
- Security clearance at Secret level or ability to obtain
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation projects
- Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Public Administration
- Expertise in DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for regulated environments
