Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital transformation projects for federal departments including cloud migration, API integration, and legacy system modernization
- Develop strategic roadmaps for digital service delivery aligned with Government of Canada digital standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement citizen-centric digital solutions with measurable impact
- Ensure compliance with federal security protocols, accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.1), and privacy legislation
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and change management initiatives to drive digital adoption across public sector
- Monitor emerging technology trends (AI, blockchain, IoT) and assess implementation opportunities in government contexts
- Lead vendor management for technology partnerships while optimizing budget allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years experience in government digital transformation
- Proven expertise implementing digital service platforms in public sector environments (e.g., GCcloud, GCdocs)
- Strong knowledge of Canadian federal digital strategy frameworks (Digital Canada 150, Blueprint 2020)
- Certified in Agile/Scrum methodologies with PMP or Prince2 certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience with accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) and security protocols (ITSG-33, TBS Security Policy)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to navigate complex bureaucratic structures
- Technical proficiency in enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and data analytics tools
