Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with Canadian federal security standards (e.g., ITSG-33, PSPC directives)
- Lead architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
- Optimize system performance while maintaining zero-trust security frameworks
- Document architectural decisions and create comprehensive solution blueprints
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture with 5+ years in public/government sector
- Certified AWS/GCP/Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification
- Expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for regulated environments
- Deep understanding of Canadian federal IT security frameworks
- Experience with enterprise service bus (ESB) and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of data sovereignty requirements for Canadian systems
- Proven ability to manage complex technology transformation projects
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
