Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions for municipal services
- Lead digital modernization projects for public-facing applications
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and state-level cybersecurity standards
- Collaborate with policy teams to translate technical requirements into actionable frameworks
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for IT services
- Develop disaster recovery plans and business continuity protocols
- Mentor junior IT staff through knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in government IT infrastructure management
- Active CISSP or CISA certification
- Expertise in Azure Government and FedRAMP compliance frameworks
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies in public sector projects
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations (FAR)
- Excellent written communication skills for policy documentation
