As a key member of our Digital Innovation Directorate, you'll architect scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining rigorous compliance with federal regulations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform legacy systems into agile, citizen-centric digital experiences that set new benchmarks for public sector innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital transformation projects for public-facing services, from discovery to implementation
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for modernizing legacy government IT infrastructure
- Ensure all solutions comply with FISMA, NIST, and accessibility (Section 508) standards
- Champion data-driven decision making through advanced analytics and visualization initiatives
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops with agency leaders to align technology with policy objectives
- Mentor junior developers and analysts on secure coding practices and public sector constraints
- Monitor emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT) for applicable civic innovation opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in digital transformation with 5+ years in public/government sector
- Proven expertise in Agile/Sc methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Deep understanding of federal procurement processes (FAR, DFARS) and cybersecurity protocols
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex policy requirements into technical solutions
- Experience managing cross-functional teams including developers, UX designers, and policy analysts
- Professional certifications in AWS/Azure Government or TOGAF required
