Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital transformation projects for federal departments, from strategy to implementation
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with government modernization priorities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and design user-centric digital solutions
- Ensure all initiatives comply with federal security protocols (TBS, PSPC standards)
- Manage vendor relationships and technology procurement processes
- Drive adoption of cloud, AI, and data analytics in public service contexts
- Present transformation outcomes to senior government executives
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in IT transformation with 3+ years in public/government sector
- Proven expertise in agile methodologies and project management (PMP/Prince2 certified)
- Deep understanding of Canadian public sector digital frameworks (GC Digital, GCcloud)
- Experience with cloud migration (AWS/Azure/GCP) and enterprise system integration
- Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse government departments
- Knowledge of federal security protocols (ITSG-33, CSE guidelines)
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Computer Science, or related field
