Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with client business objectives
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with top-tier media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders
- Lead crisis communications planning and rapid-response protocols for high-profile clients
- Manage digital PR campaigns including SEO-optimized press releases, social media amplification, and content partnerships
- Oversee media training for executives and spokespeople to ensure consistent messaging
- Analyze campaign performance using data-driven metrics and ROI reporting
- Mentor junior PR team members and foster collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive PR experience with agency or in-house corporate communications
- Proven track record of securing placements in top-tier media (WSJ, Forbes, TechCrunch, etc.)
- Expertise in crisis management, reputation repair, and executive communications
- Strong understanding of digital PR tools, SEO principles, and social media analytics
- Exceptional writing skills with portfolio demonstrating press releases, pitches, and op-eds
- Experience managing PR budgets and vendor relationships
- PRSA certification or equivalent professional accreditation preferred
