Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive policy research initiatives using quantitative/qualitative methodologies
- Develop actionable policy recommendations aligned with federal regulations and community needs
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with government agencies, NGOs, and community representatives
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft high-impact policy briefs for executive leadership
- Manage policy implementation projects with budgets exceeding $5M
- Mentor junior analysts and maintain rigorous quality assurance standards
- Represent the department in intergovernmental forums and public consultations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Political Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of progressive policy analysis experience in government/public sector
- Expertise in policy evaluation frameworks and impact assessment methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, Stata) and GIS tools
- Proven track record of developing successful legislative/regulatory proposals
- Clearances: Must obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance
- Strong written/verbal communication with demonstrated briefing experience for senior officials
