Responsibilities
- Analyze complex infrastructure challenges and develop data-driven policy recommendations
- Coordinate stakeholder consultations with government agencies, industry partners, and community groups
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing policy frameworks for sustainable infrastructure development
- Prepare cabinet submissions, briefing notes, and public communications materials
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and recommend adjustments based on performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, accessibility standards, and environmental protocols
- Mentor junior policy analysts and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in government policy development
- Expertise in infrastructure policy, procurement frameworks, or public-private partnerships
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative policy analysis methodologies
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines
- Valid Government of Canada security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of federal government decision-making processes and legislative frameworks
