Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy datasets to identify trends and inform strategic recommendations
- Develop evidence-based policy briefs and implementation frameworks for congressional review
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives on sustainable housing and infrastructure development
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with municipal leaders and community organizations
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and prepare quarterly impact assessments
- Represent the department in intergovernmental working groups and public forums
- Mentor junior analysts on quantitative analysis methodologies and policy development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SAS) and GIS mapping tools
- Demonstrated success in translating quantitative data into actionable policy recommendations
- Experience with federal budgeting processes and grant administration frameworks
- Superior written/verbal communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
