Responsibilities
- Design and implement data-driven policy frameworks for metropolitan growth initiatives
- Lead cross-agency task forces on climate-resilient infrastructure development
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft regulatory recommendations for congressional review
- Manage $5M+ federal grant programs supporting community revitalization projects
- Present policy briefings to senior leadership and congressional committees
- Oversee stakeholder engagement with NGOs, local governments, and industry partners
- Conduct longitudinal studies on housing affordability and economic mobility trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in federal/local government
- Expertise in quantitative policy modeling and statistical analysis (R/Python)
- Proven track record of developing bipartisan legislative proposals
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Professional certification (e.g., PPAP, AICP) highly desirable
- Experience managing federal grant programs and OMB compliance
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder facilitation across diverse sectors
