Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate healthcare policy proposals using quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory frameworks for federal healthcare programs
- Prepare comprehensive briefings for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement policy initiatives
- Monitor emerging healthcare trends and recommend strategic adaptations
- Represent the department in interagency working groups and public forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Health Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal healthcare policy analysis
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in translating complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid programs and ACA implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with policy writing experience
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
