Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive policy impact assessments for federal economic initiatives
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on emerging market trends and regulatory frameworks
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations through advanced econometric modeling
- Prepare Cabinet-level briefing documents and parliamentary testimony materials
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations with industry associations and provincial governments
- Monitor international policy developments and benchmark best practices
- Mentor junior policy analysts through our structured career progression program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related quantitative field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or regulated sectors
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Python, Stata) and policy simulation modeling
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing multi-year strategic policy frameworks
- Deep understanding of Canada's federal-provincial fiscal relations and regulatory landscape
- Exceptional written communication with proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Valid Secret Level II security clearance (or ability to obtain)
