Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive policy research frameworks for economic development initiatives
- Analyze complex socioeconomic data to forecast market trends and identify growth opportunities
- Develop actionable policy recommendations through stakeholder consultations with industry leaders and community groups
- Lead cross-functional task forces on national infrastructure and innovation programs
- Present policy briefings to parliamentary committees and senior government executives
- Maintain compliance with federal regulatory frameworks and reporting standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in government policy development or economic analysis
- Expertise in quantitative analysis tools (STATA, R, Python) and policy modeling
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-stakeholder policy implementation projects
- Deep understanding of Canadian federal/provincial governance structures
- Security clearance at the Reliability status level
- Exceptional written communication skills with published policy papers
