Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate urban policy frameworks addressing housing affordability, transportation systems, and environmental sustainability
- Analyze complex socioeconomic data to inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives on smart city infrastructure and disaster resilience planning
- Prepare comprehensive legislative briefings and impact assessments for congressional stakeholders
- Lead stakeholder engagement with local governments, NGOs, and community organizations
- Maintain compliance with federal regulatory requirements and procurement protocols
- Mentor junior analysts on policy research methodologies and government procedures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government policy analysis or public sector consulting
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Deep knowledge of federal grant administration and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in policy impact modeling software (e.g., Stata, R, ArcGIS)
- Demonstrated experience with legislative drafting and stakeholder negotiation
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
