Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using advanced data modeling techniques
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces to coordinate interdepartmental initiatives
- Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions with community leaders and industry representatives
- Monitor emerging urban trends and recommend evidence-based policy adjustments
- Manage grant programs supporting local government innovation projects
- Present findings to congressional committees and oversight boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of federal or state government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, or SAS) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislation and regulatory impact statements
- Clearance eligibility for sensitive government information (Top Secret preferred)
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
- Published research in peer-reviewed policy journals
- Experience with federal grant administration processes
