Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy proposals aligned with federal urban development goals
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on urban infrastructure challenges
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces on smart city initiatives
- Present findings to congressional committees and executive leadership
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs in metropolitan areas
- Manage stakeholder engagement with local government partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of federal policy analysis experience
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Deep understanding of federal grant processes (CFDA compliance)
- Proven track record of policy implementation success
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong familiarity with GAO and OMB reporting standards
