Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate urban policy frameworks using quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with municipal agencies, nonprofits, and private sector partners
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for congressional review
- Analyze socioeconomic data to identify disparities in public service accessibility
- Oversee implementation of federal grant programs supporting smart city initiatives
- Monitor emerging policy trends and regulatory changes affecting urban development
- Coordinate with interdepartmental task forces on cross-functional policy integration
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in government policy analysis or public sector consulting
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Knowledge of federal grant management and compliance frameworks (e.g., OMB Circulars)
- Strong understanding of urban development challenges and equitable policy principles
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
