Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare legislation and regulatory impacts using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Develop policy briefs and recommendations for Congressional testimony and agency directives
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and industry partners
- Oversee program evaluation frameworks for federal healthcare initiatives (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Coordinate interagency task forces on healthcare access and equity initiatives
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional committees
- Mentor junior analysts on policy research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of federal government policy analysis experience
- Expertise in healthcare policy landscape (ACA, Medicare, Medicaid)
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SAS, R, Stata)
- Strong policy writing and presentation skills with publication record
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain
- Experience with federal budget processes and regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated project management of multi-agency initiatives
