Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate federal health policies using advanced quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Lead cross-agency task forces to coordinate pandemic response and emergency preparedness strategies
- Analyze healthcare data trends to inform legislative recommendations and budget allocations
- Author high-impact policy briefs and testimony for congressional hearings and regulatory proceedings
- Manage complex stakeholder engagements with healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and international partners
- Oversee implementation of public health programs ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise policy research initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of progressive policy analysis experience in federal or state government
- Expertise in health economics, epidemiology, and healthcare delivery systems
- Proficient in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, Stata) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in translating complex health data into actionable policy recommendations
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with documented policy publications
- Knowledge of Affordable Care Act and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
