Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate federal health policies addressing pandemic preparedness and chronic disease prevention
- Lead cross-agency task forces to coordinate emergency response protocols
- Analyze complex health data to inform legislative recommendations
- Present policy briefings to congressional committees and agency leadership
- Manage $5M+ annual budget for health security initiatives
- Mentor junior policy analysts and interns
- Represent the agency at national health conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in federal health policy development
- Expertise in healthcare analytics and epidemiological modeling
- Proven track record of successful policy implementation
- Active Secret security clearance
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
