The Role
You will be responsible for managing complex project lifecycles from conception to delivery. You will mentor junior project managers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, providing clear updates, risk assessments, and status reports.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project resources, including budgets, personnel, and tools, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them before they impact project delivery.
- Agile Leadership: Lead Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the IT or Software Development industry.
- Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication abilities in English.
- Tools: Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
