In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring that our technical teams and business units are aligned. You will drive process improvements, mentor junior project managers, and ensure the highest standards of quality are met across all deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in close collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks early and develop robust contingency plans to keep projects on track.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of team capabilities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, concise updates to stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and ensuring alignment.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve project management methodologies and tools to increase team productivity.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically within the Information Technology or Software Development sector.
- Certifications: PMP or CAPM certification is required; Prince2 or SAFe certification is a plus.
- Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Tools: Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and influence cross-functional partners without direct authority.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis.
