Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to deliver high-quality software products on time and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in alignment with overall strategy.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies using industry-standard methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Kanban).
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies to ensure project continuity.
- Facilitate regular stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews to maintain transparency and alignment.
- Monitor project performance metrics (KPIs) and provide regular reporting to executive leadership to demonstrate progress and ROI.
- Mentor junior project managers and team leads, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2) is strongly required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing software development projects within a SaaS or technology environment.
- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple competing projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Asana.
