Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and documentation process for complex, large-scale projects.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external engineering consultants, and contractors.
- Conduct thorough site visits and oversee construction administration to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
- Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations, including 3D renderings and technical drawings.
- Ensure all project phases comply with local zoning resolutions, building codes, and ADA regulations.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior architects and drafting staff.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Active Registered Architect (RA) license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive professional experience in architectural design and project management.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM software, and 3D modeling tools (Rhino/SketchUp).
- Deep understanding of NYC building codes, zoning laws, and DOB filing processes.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a proven track record of successfully delivered commercial or high-end residential projects.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- LEED AP accreditation is highly preferred.
