Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design process from initial concept through construction documentation and administration.
  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultant teams, including structural, MEP, and civil engineering.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring project vision and budgets are meticulously maintained.
  • Oversee the production of detailed Revit models and technical specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and zoning laws.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate architectural staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and design rigor.

Qualifications

  • Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm environment.
  • Licensed Architect (RA) with the ability to obtain licensure in Illinois.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Rhino, and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale urban developments from start to finish.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Chicago building codes, ADA requirements, and zoning ordinances.
