Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process from initial concept through construction documentation and administration.
- Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultant teams, including structural, MEP, and civil engineering.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring project vision and budgets are meticulously maintained.
- Oversee the production of detailed Revit models and technical specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and zoning laws.
- Mentor junior and intermediate architectural staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and design rigor.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction adheres to design intent and quality standards.
- Integrate sustainable design strategies and LEED/WELL certification requirements into every project phase.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm environment.
- Licensed Architect (RA) with the ability to obtain licensure in Illinois.
- Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Rhino, and Bluebeam Revu.
- Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale urban developments from start to finish.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex design concepts to stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of Chicago building codes, ADA requirements, and zoning ordinances.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a portfolio demonstrating design excellence and technical precision.
