Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project teams during all phases of design and construction documentation.
- Oversee technical detailing and ensure compliance with NYC building codes and zoning ordinances.
- Manage consultant coordination, including structural, MEP, and civil engineering partners.
- Conduct rigorous site visits and construction administration to ensure design intent fidelity.
- Mentor junior architectural staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
- Drive sustainable design strategies to achieve LEED and WELL certification standards.
- Maintain client relationships through clear communication and proactive project management.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect (RA) in New York State or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm.
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of IBC/NYC building codes and ADA regulations.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar projects.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
