As a Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in translating client visions into tangible realities while mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design: Drive the architectural design process from initial concept through to completion, ensuring high standards of creativity and technical feasibility.
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design proposals and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to local building regulations (UK Building Regulations), planning laws, and sustainability standards.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior architects and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, interior designers, and planners to integrate structural and MEP systems seamlessly into the design.
- Documentation: Oversee the production of detailed construction drawings and technical specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- Education: Fully qualified RIBA Part 3 and a degree in Architecture (RIBA Part 2 accredited).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects in the UK.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), and SketchUp.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, strong project management abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
- Portfolio: A strong, comprehensive portfolio demonstrating a range of residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
