Responsibilities
- Lead design development and documentation for mixed-use and commercial projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and facade engineering systems
- Manage client relationships and project timelines
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior architects and design staff
- Ensure compliance with ADA, LEED, and local building codes
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and review boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive architectural experience
- Registered Architect (Illinois license required)
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ completed commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of BIM workflows and construction documentation
- Experience leading design charrettes and client workshops
- Familiarity with Chicago zoning ordinances and historic preservation
