Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for complex commercial developments.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and consultant coordination to ensure milestones are met.
- Prepare and oversee the production of detailed construction documentation and specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and municipal authorities.
- Mentor junior design staff and foster a culture of professional growth.
- Conduct site visits and field observations to ensure high-quality construction compliance.
- Integrate sustainable design practices and LEED strategies into every project phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect (AIA) in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in commercial/mixed-use architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proven expertise in local building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA compliance.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional visual communication and client presentation skills.
