Vanguard Design Studio is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead high-profile commercial and residential projects from conceptual design through construction administration. You will collaborate with elite design teams, influence sustainable building practices, and deliver iconic structures that define urban living.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive design packages for complex building projects.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants, clients, and municipal agencies to ensure project compliance and quality.
- Manage the production of detailed construction documentation and technical specifications.
- Oversee project timelines and budget allocation to ensure milestones are met.
- Mentor junior design staff and perform quality control reviews of CAD/BIM outputs.
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction alignment with design intent and code regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Professional Licensure (RA) in the State of New York or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes, zoning regulations, and ADA compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead client presentations.
