Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex commercial architectural projects.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants to ensure structural and MEP integration.
- Manage construction documentation sets ensuring high technical accuracy.
- Oversee construction administration to ensure design intent is upheld on-site.
- Mentor junior architectural staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Navigate municipal building codes and zoning requirements for local projects.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Current AIA licensure in the State of Illinois preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in an architectural firm environment.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
- Strong knowledge of IBC, ADA, and local Chicago building codes.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and timelines independently.
