Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for large-scale commercial and residential projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
- Manage the production of comprehensive construction document sets with high technical accuracy.
- Oversee construction administration activities, including site visits and RFI/submittal reviews.
- Mentor junior staff to foster professional growth and technical proficiency within the studio.
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA standards.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Current NCARB certification and New York State Licensure.
- 8+ years of professional experience in an architectural firm environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex commercial or high-rise project management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of building systems, sustainability practices, and construction detailing.
