Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex architectural projects through all phases, from schematic design to construction documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and municipal agencies to ensure project alignment and regulatory compliance.
- Manage project teams, delegating tasks effectively to junior staff while providing mentorship and technical oversight.
- Oversee construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFI responses, and site inspections to ensure design intent.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
- Implement advanced BIM protocols to enhance collaboration and building performance analysis.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Current architectural licensure (NYS registration preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in an architectural firm.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Rhino or Grasshopper is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of NYC Building Codes, zoning resolutions, and ADA requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage complex stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a portfolio reflecting high-quality design work.
