Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical development of complex architectural projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and clients to ensure project alignment.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverable timelines.
- Mentor junior design staff and oversee the production of construction documents.
- Navigate local zoning regulations, building codes, and permit processes.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent and quality control standards are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Current AIA licensure or path to licensure in the state of New York.
- 8+ years of professional experience in commercial or residential design.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of structural systems and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
