Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of high-speed production lines to maximize throughput and efficiency.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance teams to translate technical requirements into scalable manufacturing processes.
- Conduct rigorous root-cause analysis for manufacturing deviations and implement corrective actions to ensure zero-defect production.
- Mentor junior engineers and floor staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
- Manage capital equipment budgets and oversee the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing environments.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
