Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are strictly met.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of production line workers, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular shift briefings, safety audits, and performance evaluations to maintain operational alignment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments to resolve issues swiftly.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company-specific safety guidelines.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards within a heavy industrial setting.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team and manage conflict effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including second shift and occasional weekends as needed.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
