Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Monitor production schedules and ensure manufacturing processes run efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Analyze production workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot machinery issues and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality control protocols to ensure final products meet strict industry specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, procurement, and floor managers to integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
