Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Analyze current production workflows and implement data-driven solutions to increase throughput and reduce waste.
- Maintenance Oversight: Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot machinery, implement predictive maintenance schedules, and minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and internal safety protocols to ensure a zero-incident workplace.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
- Project Management: Lead capital improvement projects, from initial concept to final deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing production environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PLC programming (Allen-Bradley or Siemens).
- Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
