Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the visual and user experience evolution of our flagship platform. You will be the bridge between user needs and business goals, crafting intuitive interfaces that delight millions of users daily.
In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity meets strategy. You won't just draw pixels; you will define product direction, mentor the design team, and drive initiatives that scale our user base.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Design System: Own the evolution of our design tokens, components, and documentation to ensure scalability and consistency.
- User-Centric Research: Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
- High-Fidelity Execution: Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Visual Storytelling: Craft compelling visuals and micro-interactions that enhance the overall user journey.
- Mentorship: Guide junior designers and conduct design critiques to foster a culture of excellence.
Who You Are
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in product design for web and mobile.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design processes and a keen eye for detail.
- Tools: Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Principles: Deep understanding of accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and interaction patterns.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the company’s design system to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Lead user research initiatives to uncover insights that drive product strategy.
- Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and defend design decisions with data and user feedback.
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design critiques to foster a culture of growth.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex design concepts.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
