Responsibilities
- Lead Design Initiatives: Spearhead the design strategy for key product features, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain a scalable, component-based design system to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- User Research: Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to drive data-informed design decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate concepts into high-fidelity prototypes.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the design team.
- Prototyping: Create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design intent and validate user flows before development.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design within a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and interaction design.
- Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite (XD).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
