Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from identifying market opportunities and supplier selection to contract negotiation and renewal.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends and pricing data to develop strategic sourcing plans that drive significant cost reductions and value creation.
- Vendor Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of suppliers, conducting performance reviews and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, and Engineering) to translate business requirements into precise purchasing specifications.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal standards, and industry best practices to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Analysis: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of using data to inform sourcing decisions.
