Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and quality.
- Manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, from onboarding to performance evaluation.
- Analyze market trends and data to forecast demand and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, R&D) to align purchasing with business goals.
- Reduce operational costs through strategic consolidation and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and achieving cost savings targets.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
