Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement cycles, from market research and supplier identification to negotiation, contract execution, and onboarding.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze current spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce the cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high performance, quality standards, and competitive pricing.
- Supply Chain Analysis: Monitor global market trends, commodity prices, and geopolitical factors to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage complex supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and internal procurement policies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and product teams, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within a multinational corporation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software (e.g., Coupa, Ariba). Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of implementing successful sourcing strategies and delivering measurable cost savings.
