Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement processes, from market analysis and supplier identification to negotiation and contract award.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance, quality, and delivery excellence.
- Negotiation: Execute high-stakes negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Cost Optimization: Analyze spending patterns and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve the company's bottom line.
- Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Streamline procurement workflows and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, market trends, and supplier risk management.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of resolving complex procurement challenges.
