The Role
You will be responsible for driving the procurement strategy for our key business units, ensuring we secure the best value from our supply chain partners while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sourcing plans to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, contract execution, and vendor onboarding.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance data, and pricing structures to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage a complex portfolio of vendors, ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and company policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams to align purchasing strategies with broader business objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive bidding processes to secure favorable contract terms.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate detailed reporting for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPM is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
