Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to meet business goals while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with global suppliers to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
- Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory levels and procurement cycles to minimize stockouts and excess holding costs.
- Process Improvement: Streamline procurement processes using best practices and technology to enhance efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior procurement staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor relationship management.
- Language: Excellent command of English (both written and verbal).
- Certification: CIPS or CPSM certification is highly desirable.
- Analytical: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
