Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for critical categories, aligning with business objectives and growth strategies.
- Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct thorough market research and spend analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential cost savings.
- Manage the entire vendor lifecycle, including selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and relationship management.
- Mitigate supply chain risks by diversifying supplier base and implementing robust contingency plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, company policies, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, leveraging technology and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in a fast-paced industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and vendor management, with a track record of achieving significant cost reductions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or C.P.M. is highly desirable.
